These are Kate Middleton's favourite perfumes and they're all under £100

Kate Middleton waving at crowds in stripey top - kate middleton perfume

Kate Middleton has been turning heads with her chic style over the past couple of months – we cannot get enough of her preppy looks.

And it’s not just her sartorial choices that we’re taking summery inspiration from. With the weather so balmy, we’re after a scent that’s inkeeping with this time of year. We’re talking creamy flowers, citrus notes and a lighter airiness. Which is where the Duchess of Cambridge comes in.

Kate is a huge fan of a white floral scent, she chose to wear White Gardenia Petals by Illuminum on her wedding day 11 years ago. The relatively unknown British brand became an overnight sensation once the news had been annouced.

Illuminum London White Gardenia Petals – was £110, now £90
The scent itself is memorable: the freshness of bergamot and lily that you smell on first spritz makes way for buttery notes of jasmine, ylang ylang and gardenia before mellowing down to soft, warm woods.

Her love of a white floral scent doesn’t stop there. She also loves Jo Malone London Orange Blossom. Clarence House also confirmed that, at Kate’s request, Orange Blossom candles were lit in Westminster Abbey for the big day. The waft of clean, crisp orange flower scent would have filled the air as she walked down the aisle.

White floral scents are clearly a Royal thing, Kate followed in the footsteps of the late Princess Diana who also wore one on her wedding day. Princess Diana famously wore Houbigant Paris Quelques Fleurs, peppered with tuberose, jasmine, lily of the valley and rose, to marry Prince Charles.

This is a classic woody floral that was created back in 1912. It’s intoxicating, it’s feminine and it’s a statement.

Unsurprisingly, these three scents still reign supreme for brides today.

Gorgeous.
